Parents and Friends Association

The PFA is a registered charity ran by parent volunteers. Our main objective is to raise funds to purchase specialised equipment and to provide opportunities and experiences for the children who attend Ash Trees Academy. The PFA raises money through fund raising events, via donations and grant applications.

Membership of the group is open to any parent, grandparent or carer of a child who attends Ash Trees Academy, and to any person who supports the aims of the PFA.

Our meetings are held during school hours, at the school, during term time. Details of our meetings and minutes are available from the tab below. If you are not able to attend the meetings but could help in other ways please contact us.

We would love to see some new faces at our meetings, so please feel free to come along.

Get Involved

Our next meeting is on Thursday 8th March 2018 at Rievaulx Site at 1.30pm.

Fundraising Focus:

We are currently focusing our fundraising efforts on developing a Soft Play Provision on our Rievaulx Site.

We are anticipating the project to cost around £12,000 and will update when we have a final representation of the project.

Please keep checking for updates on our fundraising efforts so far.

We have also signed up to Easyfundraising, which is a form of online fundraising where whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be collecting free donations for Ash Trees Academy PFA. The shops and sites give easyfundraising a percentage of what you spend and they turn that into a donation, it’s that easy. There’s no catch or hidden charges and Ash Trees Academy PFA will be really grateful for your donations. Plus, if you join and support Ash Trees Academy PFA we’ll get an extra £2 when you raise your first donation.

Please join and go through the site to complete your Christmas shopping!

It’s really simple, all you have to do is:

1. Go to and join for free.

2. Every time you want to shop go to easyfundraising, find the shop you want and start shopping.

3. When you check out Ash Trees Academy PFA gets a donation for no extra cost whatsoever!

Your voucher book

Ash Trees Academy PFA are selling the ‘Your Voucher books’, which are extremely good value for money. Your Voucher Books are full of ‘2 for 1′ vouchers for restaurants, days out, activities, attractions, pamper sessions and haircuts. Each book contains over 400 buy one get free vouchers for the Tees Valley area, with possible savings worth over £4000.

The books cost £25 each and are valid all year, with the exceptions of special days, such as Easter and Christmas day. The school raises £5 for every book we sell.

If anyone is interested and wants some more information before purchasing a book there is an example book that is available to look at, which is located on our Bowes Road. Also you can find more information on the website

If you would to purchase a Voucher Book, please contact school.
