PFA

Parents and Friends Association

The PFA is a registered charity ran by parent volunteers. Our main objective is to raise funds to purchase specialised equipment and to provide opportunities and experiences for the children who attend Ash Trees Academy. The PFA raises money through fund raising events, via donations and grant applications.

Membership of the group is open to any parent, grandparent or carer of a child who attends Ash Trees Academy, and to any person who supports the aims of the PFA.

Our meetings are held during school hours, at the school, during term time. Details of our meetings an minutes are available below. If you are not able to attend the meetings but could help in other ways please contact us.

Since April 2016 we have held a race night, Christmas Fayre and a Christmas party. We have purchased a projector, sensory tent and strider bikes for the school. We also provided a large amount of the funding for the immersive room at the Rievaulx site and the fixed sensory unit at Bowes Road.
